These photos of Susan Boyle rocking a cute little dress and a hip leather jacket will no doubt have some folks crying “blashphemy!” Ever since the Britain’s Got Talent video of the frumpy, bushy-eyebrowed, never-been-kissed Boyle singing angelically first hit the Web a week and a half ago, many among the sobbing masses have lamented an inevitable post-stardom makeover. Few will blame the sweet Scottish songbird herself but will instead blame a ruthless, unfair entertainment industry that forced a woman with a hidden inner beauty to succumb to a plastic, cookie-cutter standard of external beauty.

The Susan Boyle Fan Club is the first and only fan club I have ever joined. I am 63 years young. I do not care if she has a makeover or not. She has got TALENT, and no one could sing like she does unless they have soul and a good heart. If she wants to do a makeover, pluck her eyebrows, get a tummy tuck, a chin lift, whatever, more power to her, she deserves to do whatever she wants to do with herself without our concern. It is really none of our business what she does with her looks. I will listen to and buy her music because it is absolutely Heavenly. Much of the music I have heard for the last two decades is depressing, and does not equate music to my ears. Many of our ‘stars’ use effects and outrageous fashions and hairstyles to get their moment of fame, but have little talent. Susan Boyle opens her mouth and lights up my life.

I haven’t heard any voice like hers in all my life and I’am 42. Her voice really let’s the world see all the garbage singer’s out there.
I had chills down my spine when she sang. My advice, get rid of the old and in with the new. where has she been all this time.
